New Year Resolution – Let’s Dance!

January is traditionally when we resolve to make positive changes to improve ourselves.  Ballet is widely recognised to be an excellent way of self-improvement – to improve not just dance but whole life skills too.  The more you dance the better you feel which is why so many of us want to do it.  So here are a few suggested resolutions for ballet dancers who want to work on improving skills and having fun at the same time.

  • Increase core strength.  Dancing is a workout in itself and ballet especially improves muscle strength and mental focus – it’s no wonder that so many athletes do ballet exercises – they know they increase agility, endurance, flexibility and concentration.  So increase your strength by dancing more.
  • Build self confidence.  Ballet helps people to feel good about the way they are because it improves grace, poise and self-belief.  And students who learn ballet find that they improve skills that they can use in many other performing arts and sports.  The more you dance the better you’ll feel.
  • Make friends.  Ballet classes are an excellent way of making new friends and having fun.  And when it’s time to party, there’s no better dancer than a ballet dancer!

Above all we at WWDA want to help all our dancers to achieve all their goals this year.  Our expert team will provide the best dance tuition to help you improve, feel better and have fun at the same time.
